Some Healthy Habits & Tips for Monsoon
- Avoid fried food, it lower down our immunity. Once bhujiya or mitha chilla with tea is allowed
- Improve your immunity by having roasted black channa with powdered black pepper with ginger tea.
- Use less spices to stay active.
- Avoid lemon and tamarind in monsoons, can cause water retention.
- Avoid fruit juices from outside.
- Do breathing exercises daily for clean respiratory tract.
- Use saute steamed boiled or baked salads than raw.
- Eat easy to digest seasonal food- fruits and vegetables like gyia, tori, tinda, moong dal, white channa salad.
- Include oats, barley and bajra in normal wheat chapaties.
- Use herbal tea homemade like zeera tea, mint tea, ajwain tea.
- Gaggle with warm water with pinch of black salt every morning for throat infection.
- Detox your body once in a week during monsoon by having only fruits. Like sawan fast once in a week.
- Include fresh curd or lassi as probiotics.
- Avoid animal fat, in monsoons it has big chances of harmful bacteria.
- Once in a week include khichri in your diet for assimilation.
- Use less green leafy veggies in monsoons because of insects on leaves.
- Avoid litchi fruit in monsoons.
- Enjoy monsoons stress freely with family and friends.
- Do not eat cut fruits from outside.
- Have mangoes only if its fresh and washed.
